It's been too long

I apologize for not writing. I have my hands in so many things.

Several times last week, I had to step in and supervise onsite for the moving company I own

GOOD GUYS MOVING COMPANY, so I haven't been around the farm.

Our farm is doing well, the hogs are getting big, we have several still for sale, and will be purchasing several more next Friday, from the Deeanna Rose Farmstead, in Overland Park, Ks.

Our chickens are now laying wonderfully, averaging 44 per day.

We have been looking at several farm properties in order to expand our business, and better serve a larger consumer base, as well as editing our large scale business plan. Ideally, within the next year, we are looking to expand to 600 chickens, 200 hogs, and 1500 Cornish cross hens for eating.

It's an exciting time in our life, as we set goals that are very much within reach, as well as stay humble knowing that this only started roughly 3 months ago.

As my blog entries may slow, please remember that I greatly appreciate your reading them, as well as your support of our small family farm. We will never forget where we started, nor how we got to where we are.

As always, thanks for reading and supporting our small family farm.
