What is the difference between farm raised, and store bought, and why should you buy from Schwarz Pork and Poultry.
Ok, so first, the differences between farm raised and store bought are many. I will touch on the major concerns.
A store bought product is mass produced, fed or made as cheap as possible, and loaded with antibiotics, growth hormones, and many other non-biological , or unnatural blends to cause faster growth. The animal is often kept in a cage or a pen , no larger than a foot or two long and a foot or two wide.
Here on our farm, each hog has 122 square feet to grow, run and dig, on warm days we soak the ground near them and let them have mud baths, then bask in the sun. Our hogs are never caged, and get all the sun they want. Also, our hogs, are fed only natural blend grains, and corn, along with grass, so that they grow naturally, making the meat in the end result better quality.
But, here is the best part, as a customer, or beforehand, we invite you to come see our property, the way the animals are cared and treated for, that way, you see that our main goal is quality, not to make money.
